Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of homebase.bio. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
The service and availability
homebase.bio provides tools for publishing a profile page and links. Some areas are still in development and are identified as previews or unavailable. A displayed future feature or draft does not mean it is included in an active subscription. We may change or discontinue features; where required, we will provide notice and applicable remedies for a material change to a paid service.
Your content and permission to host it
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a nonexclusive permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service and carry out your instructions. This permission ends when content is removed, except for limited backups, legal preservation, or copies others made while it was public. You must have the necessary rights to publish the content and links you provide.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful content, fraud, impersonation, phishing, malware, harassment, exploitation, infringement, or nonconsensual disclosure of private information. Do not bypass access restrictions, falsify billing or analytics, send abusive automated traffic, or attempt to access another person's private information. Report suspected abuse through our contact address.
Public content and external links
Published pages are public and may be indexed or copied. You control what you publish. We do not control or endorse external services reached through user links. Purchases or agreements with those services are between you and their operators.
Plans, payments, and cancellation
Free access does not require a payment card. New paid plans are unavailable until checkout is enabled. When available, the checkout screen identifies the plan, currency, price, billing interval, and applicable taxes before you authorize payment. Recurring subscriptions renew at the stated interval until canceled. Manage cancellation, invoices, and payment methods through the billing portal in account settings.
Unless the checkout or applicable law says otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and paid access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Failed or overdue payments may result in restricted paid access. We do not charge a paid subscription merely because you created a free account. Any applicable mandatory consumer cancellation or refund rights remain available. Contact support about duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect charges and refund requests; these are reviewed under the circumstances and applicable law.
Suspension and account closure
We may restrict or remove content or suspend accounts to address a breach of these terms, a legal obligation, or a material security risk. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us. You can request account deletion in settings or by email. Review and cancel any subscription in the billing portal as part of closing your account.
Service limitations and liability
We take reasonable steps to operate the service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, specific search rankings, income, or outcomes. Keep copies of important content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional implied guarantees. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, warranties, or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Disputes and changes
Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not remove mandatory protections or rights to bring a claim available in your jurisdiction. We may update the terms as the service changes, with notice of material changes where required. A new version will have an updated effective date.
